Far Cry 3 is an open-world first-person shooter that was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released on November 29, 2012 for Australia, November 30, 2012 for the Republic of Ireland and Europe, and December 2, 2012 for North America (December 4 in Canada) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. It is the third main title in the Far Cry series, and its story takes place some time after the events of Far Cry 2. Despite this, the game is not a direct sequel to it or the original Far Cry.

folders, giving a nice spread of the progress throughout the game. "Session 16"
includes a save after the ending, ready to take on the rest of the tasks.
Go to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\
If you are on a 32-bit Windows, leave out the " (x86)" part. Inside the folder
should be another one with a very long filename mostly consisting of numbers.
Enter it and locate a folder inside named "46". This contains the save games as
used by Far Cry 3. If you already played a bit, you may want to make a copy of
the files inside. Now copy the contents of one session folder in the archive to
this "46" folder and you should be good to go.
